Farm Buildings Revisited

Converting two redundant steel framed barns to provide residential accommodation for this developer client was both a challenge and an opportunity. The chance to create contemporary open plan living spaces, whilst respecting the floorplate and scale of the former barns, needed imagination and a supportive client. With plentiful natural light, the interior is cool and calm with external timber cladding adding a contemporary light industrial edge to the appearance of both barns.
